Jolie Ruin

Jolie Ruin is an established Latina mixed-media collage artist, zinester, andindependent publisher. Heavily inspired by the 1990s riot girlmovement, feminist activism, and alternative comedy, she has been creating art since 2010 and self-publishing independent zines since1996. Alongside her husband, Jamie, she operates the official Jolie Ruin Etsy Shop and The Jolie Ruin eBay Storefront, distributing zines,handmade merch, and feminist artwork worldwide.

Creative Background and Inspirations
Jolie Ruin (she/her) began her journey in the independent punk and DIY communities in the mid-1990s. Initially starting out with spoken-word cassette tape recordings and running her own independent label, Ego Records, she
